July 19-22 six 17+ staying in London. Would like a hotel in Marylebone or ckose that easy to get on tube. Thanks
Can I just clarify whether by 17+ at least someone is over 18 years old? Otherwise you will struggle to find a hotel that will take you. I can see you refer in other posts to six adults, but thought it was worth checking.
The important questions: how many rooms (assuming at least 3) and what's your budget in £? And are you locked in to Marylebone or willing to consider other areas?
We have one thats 17 and 5 over 20. Would stay anywhere that its easy to get on tube since going to wembly for a event and world like to see main attractions in london. We also are going to be going to paris after. Thank you
the only tube that calls at Marylebone is the Bakerloo Line, which incidentally also calls at Wembley Central.
You haven't mentioned money - hotels around Marylebone tend expensive until you get to the Marble Arch end of Oxford Street.
Have you considered Youth Hostels? There are a number in London. If you can get to the Bakerloo Line you can connect with just about every other line... There is a good hostel near St Pauls.
I’ve stayed at the YHA St. Paul’s (yes, they let us olds stay ;-) and it’s fine. They have rooms for 6. It is housed in a cool old building that used to be a school for young choristers, as I recall. You can’t beat the YHA deal, and Marylebone is expensive, especially at short notice.
Thinking on exactly the same lines there is the YHA London Central at Bolsover Street- close to Great Portland Street Station on the Metropolitan line to Wembley Park.
There used to be one between Euston and St Pancras but I'm pretty sure that's gone now.
You won't get "deals" in July
but try university accommodation

or there's the Langham - might have deals
Check the Premier Inn and Thistle Hotels websites.
Getting on the tube is fairly easy through out London and adjoining neighborhoods.
For theSan Francisco 49ers Yankee football game vs the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley in 2013 I stayed in the Bayswater neighborhood. I recall taking a Central Line tube train Queensbury to Bond Street and then boarding a Jubilee Line train towards Wembley. Remember enjoying the stroll from the station to the stadium bemused by how many Yankee football jerseys were being worn. Stadium was packed. Niners crushed Jaguars and I was VERY pleased to see Colin Kapernick play. Been a 49ers fan since the days of YA Tittle. Loved Kapernick! Remain disgusted by how he was treated by the NFL. Look it up non yank Forum readers. Total BS!!!
The Premier Inn Hub at Marylebone has 3 double rooms for £323.97 each for all 3 nights. A bit cheaper are the Hub at Shoreditch at £285.97 and the Hub Spitalfields at £304.97. Note that the Hubs have smaller rooms but I'm guessing for young adults that would be something you might be happy with to save some money.
Personally I would go with either Shoreditch or Spitalfields as a location - great locations for a younger crowd with lots of hip bars around. And only a short tube ride to St Pancras for the Eurostar. There is absolutely no need to stay around Marylebone, as you can easily get by tube to anywhere in central London from Wembley.
If you are up for taking a slightly longer journey after an event at Wembley and are looking at the tube rather than the train, I would suggest staying on either the Metropolitan or Jubilee lines (I note above it was stated that Marylebone is only on the Bakerloo line- this is not quite correct as it is a 5 minute walk to Baker Street which is on five tube lines). Since you also need to be at St Pancras for your train, a good place to look would be around the Great Portland Street/Euston/Kings Cross/St Pancras area. There are lots of hotels along the Euston Road tho I don't know what the availability or prices are like. East London has a lot to offer but personally I would not want such a long journey home after an event at Wembley. It often takes a lot of time just to get on the tube as they need to control crowding on the platform. Good luck with your booking!
hey hey nikime1118
is this trip for next month? if so you are late booking being high high summer season plus a place for 6 people. look look look and what you find book it like yesterday. stay in one place (takes half day to a day to change, check-in 3-4pm check-out 10-11am), public transportation is great but will be crowded, you will be paying more than you're hoping for (london is expensive), we used taxis which was fabulous
with an event at wembly , gosh forbid, more crowds. we were there years ago when oakland raiders played miami dolphins, never saw so many silver/black and aqua/orange shirts all over london (regent street, picadilly circus, trafalger square)
just be prepared for the crowds, the lines at sites/restaurants/bars/pubs, the heat. leave early when ever and where ever you do, have directions/adresses train/tube times on your phone
sounds like deloris downer, other posters offered info. go have fun and enjoy
