We plan to do a day trip from London to Canterbury. It looks like we need to choose between a Saturday (18 May) and a Monday (20 May). We could probably also do the bank holiday (Monday 6 May) but I would prefer the latter dates. Would it be better to get out of London on a Saturday and use the Monday for museums in London when they might not be as crowded? I know Canterbury will have lots of tourists, too.
Since I learned on another thread that we can just get our tickets the last minute, maybe we just wait to see how we're moved, and what else would be better for either of those days.
