We are planning our first trip to London. We've relied on Rick's information for past trips and have never been disappointed. We see that he gives many hotel recommendations, however none in the Trafalgar Square area. Can anyone give any recommendations in the Trafalgar Square area. The next area we're considering is Belgravia - based on his recommendations. Thank you!

Had two sets of friends who stayed at the Royal Horseguards, not too far from Trafalgar Square. Both really liked it.

I stayed at The Fielding Hotel which is actually in the Covent Garden neighborhood but was less than a 15 minute walk from Trafalgar Square. Also close to Leiscester Sq. It was very nice in all ways: www.thefieldinghotel.co.uk

We stayed at B&B Belgravia once and it was great. 64-66 Ebury St. Great breakfast. About a 5 minute walk to Victoria Station, and walking distance to many tourist sights.
Also we have stayed at Luna and Simone Hotel, 47/49 Belgrave Road, and liked it very much.
