Belgravia Flower Festival

For anyone traveling to London between May 22nd and May 29th you might consider this festival.

Not something most travelers would be aware of but definitely something to enjoy.

Belgravia is a very nice London neighborhood near Buckingham Palace.

Thank you for posting this, Claudia. I've added it to my itinerary. Any favorite restaurants you recommend in Belgravia?

@Christine…not Claudia but just spend 8 nights at the Lime Tree Hotel which is near the corner of Ebury and Elizabeth streets in Belgravia.

While I did not try their new breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant there were lines to get in on the weekends. I did eat twice at Sicily which is right next to Victoria Coach Station and had another meal at The Thomas Cubitt gastropub.

I also had a cupcake from Peggy Porschen cakes that was so good I could not let myself walk across the street for another one… just didn’t want to start an addiction, lol!!

Claudia, thank you for posting this! I would definitely be interested if in London at that time! And thanks for the link to that great website.

Christine, look at the website Claudia has given. There is a "Food & Drink" tab at the top of the opening page, which will give you many restaurant suggestions in Belgravia.

Pam, OK, I have to stay at the Lime Tree Hotel next time just for the brunch!

@Pam Thank you for the Belgravia restaurant tips. The Thomas Cubitt gastropub "London pubs Workers Lunch" looks especially good!
@Rebecca Great! I found the tab...lots to places to explore.
Looking forward to the Flower Festival!

Christine, I ate at The Thomas Cubitt my first night in London. It was a driving rain, it was 5:30, their kitchen was open, they were near the hotel and I was really hungry. I went for the fish and chips (even though I am vegan) and it was delicious!! Also had a really good Aperol spritz, lol.

I’ll have to say the staff was awesome. You don’t normally find servers really chatty but this group was, probably because their shift had just started!!

@Pam Thomas Cubitt gastropub sounds like my kind of place and I'll be sure to order the Aperol spritz! Thanks again for the recommendation!
