This area near Paddington Station has a number of small hotels all lined up on a park-like street...has anyone stayed at any of these (Shakespeare Hotel, The St. David's Hotel, Tudor Court Hotel, Dolphin Hotel, Norfolk Plaza Hotel, Falcon Hotel, Ashley London Hotel, Cardiff Hotel) all are on that same park and about the same price. If you have stayed, what did you think? Or could you recommend one not on this list but in the same general area (ie: short walk to Paddington and under 175 pounds per nite for a double ensuite? Thanks.

It has been a few years, but I have stayed at the Falcon Hotel and it met my needs quite well.

We stayed at St David's in September 2013. We were headed elsewhere so we wanted a place very close to Paddington. We stayed there one night at the beginning of our trip and one night at the end. The first room was very small but adequate. We were so jet lagged we didn't care. The second room was larger and had been updated. The larger room may have been okay long term but the tiny one would have been a challenge.
