Bed and breakfast in Cotswolds

Before we started using sites like Booking we would arrive in a village and go to the TI and ask them to book a B&B for us. Is there a site for the Cotswolds that we can book B&B s in peoples homes in advance?

Many small/local B&B are on the major sites like Expedia now. The only one we booked separately for our trip in September was in Wood Stanway. We contacted the owners directly based on the information on their website. I’d recommend getting a small Cotswold Way guidebook, as they typically list out all the available accommodations in various towns. AirBNB and VRBO are other sites where you can look for in-home accommodations in specific locations, although these typically won’t be B&B-type experiences.

The Volunteer Inn is not a B&B, but a traditional inn (accommodations and restaurant/pub).
I'm not sure how many villages still have TIs - for example, the one in Moreton-in-Marsh used to be staffed by very helpful people who even helped us book in other villages/other parts of England, and now, although still physically present, doesn't offer the same expertise. And there are no longer any B&Bs in that town.

Another BnB I can recommend in Chipping Campden is Bantam Tea Rooms & Guest House. Breakfast is provided in the Tea Room, Bedrooms are in the rear and up the stairs. Very nice and clean. However, there is no one there overnight. It is on the High Street.

Unfotunately not only have a lot of tourist informations centres closed over the years, they no longer ofer booking B&B accommodation. The website quoted by BillS719 is the best overall guide for B&B accommodation. A google search for a specific place may throw up more options

As a small B&B owner myself (not in the Cotswolds and not trying to self promote in any way), I can tell you that many small B&Bs are now on either AirBnB or booking.com. Many of us have found it advantageous not to have to have our own websites, and also not to handle cash or cards as the sites offer that service.

We stayed at Lowerfield Farm just outside of Broadway and it was very cute and charming! Lots of garden space, comfortable rooms, and farm fresh breakfast! It was easy to get to a lot of Rick’s recommendations for pubs and sites!
