We will be arriving in London a few days prior to our Best of London tour which starts on May 17th. We are considering a day trip to Bath via train on May 16th. I noticed that the Bath International Music Festival starts on May 15th. We are not opposed to crowds or music, but wondered if being there during the festival might hamper our ability to visit some of the important sites. If we do decide to go, might it be better to try and get an early start or would arriving after 12:00 be a better idea? We have no reason to rush back to London that evening and getting the chance to visit a local festival sounds appealing!
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
