Does anyone have a recommendation for 4 nights accommodation in Bath? We won't have a car, so needs to be central.
I like The Henry. It is a few minutes walk from the train station and close to central Bath, the Roman Baths, etc. There are stairs, but the place is great. I've stayed there several times. I love their individually cooked breakfasts.
I’ve stayed in several different accommodations in Bath, all within walking distance of the central area. I would stay in any of them again.
Brooks Guest House -stayed here on and before a Rick Steves tour
Henrietta House - also on a Rick Steves tour plus time after the tour
Francis Hotel - stayed here on a Road Scholar tour (probably my least favorite just because it’s so big. Breakfast room was chaos when I stayed there in 2016)
Kennard - has changed owners since I stayed but still gets good reviews on Trip Advisor. It’s right across from Henrietta House.
When I win the lottery I’m going to stay at The Royal Crescent Hotel, lol!! (Will they let me in with my RS wheelie?)
One place I haven’t stayed but is on my list is Three Abbey Green. Gets great reviews and is well located.
We stayed at Three Abbey Green which is about as central as you can get. Just steps from the Abbey and the Baths, etc. Very nice place.
Brooks Guesthouse is great as well as Scallop Shell restaurant.
Thank you all so much for these prompt responses! I have made inquiries to every recommendation. Much appreciated!
