Where to stay in Bath?
It depends on how much you want to pay. Can you give us a clue? (In GBP).
Stayed at Hotel Indigo last October and can't say enough good things about it. Convenient walk from train station and to city center, and just down the street from a hop-on, hop-off bus stop. The hotel has a literary theme and great ambiance.
Premier Inn City Center was very good. Quiet, clean and a few minutes walk to most things.
I can second the recommendation from WhirledTraveler for Hotel Indigo. I stayed last December and will be staying there again this December. It is in a central location, 5 minute walk from the train station, less than 10 minutes from the Roman Baths. The hotel is quaint with a lovely lobby and a good restaurant. I had a room with a Queen bed and it was cozy. It has a stocked refrigerator, tea/coffee machine. It was very quiet. The service was outstanding. Their concierge, James, helped me arrange much of my trip in advance as I had only a few days last year. I truly enjoyed the hotel and am looking forward to going back.
I stayed in the Indigo a couple of months aho and also loved it. The staff are nice, rooms are spacious and smart, and the location is excellent. Couldn't ask for more.
If you want to splurge, the Royal Crescent Hotel is incredibly lovely and beautiful. It's a bit of a walk from the train station, but the taxi ride was not expensive from the hotel back to the train station when it was time to depart. Our room was so nice and the service was phenomenal. We enjoyed the location.
I'm sure if we were to go back, we would stay at the Hotel Indigo - we really enjoy IHG properties and the service they provide.
Another vote for Hotel Indigo! We had a great time there.
