Bath and Cotswolds hotel rooms for family of 3? Car rental Bath to Oxford?

My family includes 2 adults and a 13-year-old teen and we are planning 2 nights in Bath and 2 in the Cotswolds. We'd like a nice room in Bath to accommodate all 3 of us, ideally one with a nie en suite bath or adjacent. We are interested in Three Abbey Green but are not sure which rooms are good for the addition of an extra bed. Have any of you any experience with this inn? Similarly, we'd like a quaint (and perhaps more affordable) B&B or inn/hotel in the Cotswolds--any recommendations that would allow 3 people in 1 room?

While I have you, any recommendations for car rentals picking up in Bath and returning in Oxford? Did you try Enterprise or another rental agency? If you have tips on the size car needed (with auto transmission) 3 with bags, I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance!

Manor Close Bed and Breakfast is located in Bourton on the Water, and I believe that they would have a room to suit your needs. Joe and Sheena are absolutely delightful and will ensure that you have a wonderful stay! There is a designated car park in front of their home and it is easy walking distance to the village. We also found it to be a great base for our day trips. https://www.manorclosebourton.co.uk/

TraveBug79, I think that the Manor Close would suit Leaves of Green really well. Great location, parking, a triple at a good price.

Bath is great, especially the Roman Bath Museum. We stayed at the Brooks Guesthouse (very nice B&B) in Bath. Not sure they have rooms for three persons. Also, be sure to dine for fish and chips at The Scallop Shell.

For the Cotswolds, I recommend the Volunteer Inn in Chipping Campden. Its rooms are spacious, not pricey and there is a nice Pub and Indian Restaurant there. You will need a rental car to see the Cotswolds.

If you can pick up the car in Bath, that works turning it in at Oxford. Check Kayak for best car rental price. Make sure you have a nav system or GPS to find your way. Have coins for parking and public toilets. Also, recommend an automatic transmission. More expensive, but helps you focus on driving on the left.

We used Enterprise from Bath. Originally we were scheduled to drop off in Oxford but ended up keeping the car and dropped off at Gatwick. Excellent service by Enterprise, If you call the day before you can arrange a pick up at your hotel. What day and time are you dropping off the car? A lot of the car rental agencies from Bath/Reading/Oxford close early on weekends. Check in advance.

I would second the recommendation for The Volunteer Inn B&B, their Room 6 for triple occupancy is £75.oo per night.

We stayed at Three Abbey Green in Bath four years ago. We were three adults and stayed in the Sycamore room. It was comfortable for sleeping three but not a lot of extra sitting space. It’s listed as being on the second floor on their website but it’s really the third floor with no elevator. Just beware if you have heavy luggage. We loved the inn. Breakfast was delicious and you can’t beat their location. They are right in the middle of town. Easy walk from the train station. I hope, tho, that they’ve upgraded their very slow WiFi since our stay.

Thanks all for the suggestions! In Bath we'll be staying at Three Abbey Green. Ideas for Oxford are welcome also.
