Barons Court tube station platforms closing through 2026

A frequent suggestion on the Forum is to change between Piccadilly Line trains from Heathrow to District Line trains to Victoria and Westminster at Barons Court.

Repair work is causing platforms to close, causing both District and Piccadilly trains to NOT CALL at Barons Court during the works.

Eastbound closure - 19 January to sometime in June

Westbound closure - Mid July sometime to the end of 2026.

Suggest to change at Hammersmith or Earls Court.

9It's better to change at Hammersmith as you only have to cross the platform.

At Earls Court you need to take a small lift up from the Piccadilly Line to the District Line or another lift up to the main level and then either the stairs down to the District Line or walk to a small lift in the middle of the station that goes from that level to the District Line level. (And that one is known to break down.)
