We will arrive at Windsor Castle via a private driver, but we don’t know where to store our four backpacks while we tour the castle and grounds. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
From the Windsor Castle website:
"There is a secure cloakroom in the China Museum at the entrance to the State Apartments for the storage of these items while you visit. Please bear in mind that the walk from the Admission Centre to the cloakroom takes approximately 10 minutes and is largely uphill, and that there is a flight of stairs to negotiate once you arrive at the entrance to the State Apartments.
If you are planning to visit Windsor Castle on your way to or from the airport we strongly recommend using left luggage facilities at the airport or in central London."
Maybe have your private driver hold them for you?

"Is there anywhere to leave luggage in Windsor?
If you are visiting Windsor Castle, your luggage can be taken in with you but it will be scanned and therefore can only be accepted if it fits through Windsor Castle’s airport-style security scanners. Whilst you are in the Castle you can leave your luggage in the cloakroom free of charge but it must be collected before you leave. Luggage Storage Windsor (tel: 01753 581158) is fairly centrally located on Goswell Hill (what3words ///pushed.candle.finest) next to Patch on the Plaza and is open from 0900 to 2000 (please phone in advance to confirm). Storage charge is £5 per bag and bags cannot be held overnight. Mail Boxes Etc. Windsor on St Leonards Road also offers a luggage-storage facility for a daily charge; the shop is approximately 10-15 minutes’ walk from Windsor Castle."
Thank you so much for your prompt reply!
