B&Bs in Oxford

Hi all,
Looking for suggested favorite B&Bs in Oxford. Prefer centrally located. Planning to be there next March for 4 nights. Many thanks, fellow R.S. travelers!

Hi Boyd - My mother and I stayed at the Lakeside Guest House in Oxford. It was lovely, clean and very conveniently located. The bus into the city center stops right in front of the house, or it's an easy 10-15 minutes to walk to Christ Church College and then into the heart of Oxford. One evening we returned to the guest house on a path that runs right along the river and pops out directly across the street from the house. We were able to watch rowing crews while we walked, which seemed very fitting.

We also stayed at the Lakeside Guest House and thought it was very nice! Delicious breakfast, very clean room that was nicely decorated, and an accommodating hostess. Not a long walk into central Oxford and the bus that goes straight in stops right outside the front door if you don't want to walk. They are a little short on parking if you plan to drive but there is a car park right next door that will do in a pinch. Ask for a room near the back if you can as it is right on a main road into Oxford.
