I’ll be a solo traveler/ walker the first week of October. I will have 2 full day and 2 travel days (3 nights). I plan to walk a bit the first afternoon, the 2nd day go walk the path to st. Micheals mount and then go to Minack theater that night. The 3rd day I’m taking Ricks drive/stop tour and doing some walking on the southwest coast path. ... ending the drive at ST. Ives. I’d like to stay the last night at st iced to see the sunset before leaving on the 4th day. I’m trying to decide on just the right beautiful spot for the first 2 nights. Thanks!!

Agree Mousehole. Be aware The Old Coastguard Hotel had a fire in June and have cancelled reservations till next year.
Plenty of other places to stay though.

We are doing six days in Cornwall and Devon. Staying four nights at Truro, as the Merchant House.

So glad to know you'll be going to St. Michael's Mount! I had read about it in National Geographic as a kid, and years later finally made it there. It was magical.

Thank you all!! I am so excited and have dreamed of visiting St. Michaels mount and walking the coastal path many years! Thanks for the tip on the hotel in Mousehole. It would be so nice to find a B&B with a view of the sea and has an owner willing to give drop off or pick up service - I'm researching for that. What accommodations in Mousehole? Thanks again! Look at Mevagissey . We've stayed at Buckingham House there twice.
