B and B 's near Paddington

My wife and I will be staying in London for three nights in August after 2 weeks in Ireland. Any suggestions for a B and B near the Paddington Station area? Comfortable but not too pricey. Thanks.

Don't really know the going rates in London yet, but would like to stay somewhere between 100 and 200 pounds.

I've heard really good things about the Shaftesbury Metropolis Hyde Park and the Darlington Hotel. Both are located on Sussex Gardens, v easily walkable from Paddington Station. You're incredibly centrally located and can reach Oxford St and Hyde Park in minutes.

My wife & I are staying at Tune Hotel Paddington for a little over $100 (US) /night for a double. It is not a B&B and breakfast is not included. In fact everything is a-la-carte at this place. So I'm talking towels & soap, TV, Internet connectivity & Wi-Fi, room safe, etc. are add-ons. But the location is great and the price is right and it gets pretty high reviews on Trip Advisor.

Peter, you're right that the Tune is very convenient. If you don't want to pay for wi-fi and are OK with not having it in the room, there are several free wi-fi places not too far from you. Paddington Station offers 15 minutes free wi-fi each day; Cafe Nero has fast free unlimited wi-fi and there are two Neros within a 5 minute walk from you (one on Edgware Road, and one on Spring St just opposite the station.) Other free wi-fi providers include Pret A Manger, Starbucks, the Wetherspoons chain of pubs, and many other pubs, banks, and hotel lobbies (the Cumberland at Marble Arch has good strong wifi.)
