Hello again, the email I got for our 11;45 trip tomorrow says cancelled but the website says it is going. Which do we believe? Thanks

There is strike acrion tomorrow with a reduced train service. It looks as if the 10.47, 11.15 and 12.41 trains from Euston to Liverpool are still running but not the 11.42 or 12.14.

The Avanti website has a direct train at 11.15, arriving at 14.45. the next train is 12.41, arriving at 16.04 with a change at Stafford. There is no 11.45 listed.
As you are presumably aware this week is a very difficult one, with engineering works meaning a diversion via Birmingham adding about 50 minutes to the journey time and strikes also tomorrow and Saturday.
But trains are running. I took one yesterday from London to Preston and my wife is at this moment on one on the same route.

Trains are running - you may find a chaotic situation, with late cancellations, unexpected delays, but it would certainly be worth heading along. I had the same situation for a different route on a previous strike and ended up on a delayed earlier train that left later than the one I was meant to go on - but I did get to my destination
