Atrium room - what does it mean?

I was interested, so I looked up one of their rooms - It looks like recessed lighting in the ceiling, not having to do with a specific floor, but if I was concerned, I would email the hotel and ask!

In most cases, an atrium room means the windows look out into the interior of the hotel.

Some hotels have an open area that extends from the ground floor to the top floor. Some of these hotels have rooms that look out into this area rather than the outside. These are atrium rooms.

Atriums, which are like courtyards, are covered with glass roofs.

I booked a Twin Superior Room for 1 night. Do have tickets for a visit Royal Albert Hall.

After this stay plan to move to another hotel. Next day, ordered tickets for the Cadogan Hall.

I've considered this hotel in the past but have never stayed there. I'm seeing mentions online that some atrium rooms don't have windows or windows are covered. In other words, doesn't necessarily mean it's a window that overlooks or opens out onto an atrium--at least not for this particular hotel. Read on...
