Ashford International car rental drop off

It appears that the only car rental agency with a pick up in Bath and drop off in Ashford is Enterprise. We will be dropping off our rental car and then boarding the Eurostar for Paris. I thought that Enterprsie had a drop off at the station, but apparently, I was wrong.
It looks like the Enterprise Agency on Godolphin Road is about a half mile from the station. Is it possible to walk to the station, or if not, will someone from Enterprise drop us off there ? Is there a bus or other public transport available between the two points? The only reason I ask specifically about Enterprise is because I recently read on the forum that someone has used Enterprise frequently in England?
Thank you for your advice!

Where are you going in the car? Am I right in assuming you want to drive back from Ashord to drop the car off. I'd NEVER drive a car into London for a drop off. Why not drop it off in Canterbury and then train back into London. I believe trains go from Ashford into Kings Cross St Pancras and that's where you catch the Eurostar. Maybe Nigel or Emma or someone more knowledgable about Canterbury transport will chime in.

Did you check with gemut. com to verify that Enterprise is the only possible option? Call them if need be. They are in Oregon.

Claudia,
Ashford is one of the two places Eurostar trains stop at on the route from London to the Channel Tunnel. The other stop is Ebbsfleet. This is presumably why Gerri wants to drop the car off there, to avoid doubling back into London by car or train.
See the full Eurostar timetable here: http://www.eurostar.com/sites/default/files/pdf/timetable/UK_timetable%281%29.pdf

It appears Avis do have an office at Ashford station. This site lists it as a location: http://www.aviseurostar.com/

Thank you for your prompt replies. Unfortunately, we have already booked our car with Enterprise - to be picked up in Bath and dropped off in Ashford, where we will board our Eurostar train for Paris. I'd prefer not to call Enterprise Ashford from the states.

Gerri glad you got it sorted out. Safe trip. Apparently I misread your original post and am grateful to Chris for clarifying about Ashford and the Eurostar. Learn something new every day!

Enterprises will almost certainly do it, but why not confirm with a phone call? Will only be two cents or a minute with an appropriate VOIP package.
