Hi. We’re in London and we’re going to take a public bus around tonight to se sights. I recall a line recommended years ago. Sort of a poor mans bus tour? Can anyone tell me any #? We are in Kensington Olympia and wanted to go over towards tower of London and Big Ben. Thanks.

Megatours UK or it might be Megabus UK and a £1 yes £1, 2 hours tour that's has great reviews on TA. You did have to sign up online. Will be taking this tour in a week when I arrive.

The #9 bus is probably what you are thinking of as it is a good choice for where you are staying. It runs from Hammersmith along Kensington High Street and ends somewhere near Covent Garden.

The number 11 bus is also very good, especially the stretch from Victoria to Bank.
