Apartment rental agencies in London

I have been looking into renting a 2-3 bedroom apartment in London for a week starting around the 9th or 10th of May 2023. Our group is a married couple plus 2 other adults, one male and one female. We want a clean place in a good, safe location, close to the tube with at least 3 proper beds (not pull-out couch) and would prefer 3 bedrooms over 2.

I have Rick's latest England book which lists 8 companies (some have gone under) and I have been looking into 3 of them. Does anyone on this site have experience with the three companies listed below? Are they still ok / reputable or should i take a hard pass on any of them? What was your experience renting with them like? Are there any units you would recommend?

- One Fine Stay
- A Place Like Home
- Coach House Rentals

I have also become aware of two other companies that are not on Rick's list - IVY LETTINGS and LONDON PERFECT. Some posts on Trip Advisor seem to endorse Ivy Lettings and I've read some bad reviews about London Perfect on Trip Advisor. Does anyone on this site have experience with Ivy Lettings or London Perfect? Are these companies reputable or should I avoid? Can you please share your experience and advice?

Lastly - I have been looking at apartments through Booking.com. Any advice there would be welcome. I did see several of the same apartments on booking and also on VRBO and a rental agency - so i suppose these unit owners post multiple places?

I have no personal experience with the agencies you listed, but can confirm YES often agencies will list their properties on VRBO, AirBNB, and others so they get most eyes since most consumers search those big sites (and not usually all of them). More eyes on their properties.

I am looking for a similar rental. Did you end up working with one of these companies?
