Planning a 2024 trip to England. Would like to stay in Moreton-in-Marsh. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for accommodations. We won't have a car...for which the English thank us. Appreciate any suggestions.

We loved the Manor House Hotel on High Street. About .5 miles from the train station and very close to bus stops if you want to visit other towns. Also easy access to walking paths, including a short walk to Batsford Arboretum.

We have stayed at the White Hart Royal Hotel in Moreton in Marsh twice including earlier this week. We were perfectly content there. The staff was all friendly and helpful. The food was good in the restaurant but the service was very slow. You have to be patient. We had an accessible room which turned out to be perfect this week because it was on the ground floor and stayed cool. The heat has been challenging and unusual for about 10days now. One of the disadvantages is there is no cancellation policy. We paid when we made the reservation and would have lost it if we’d been unable make it.
