I can't get it to accept my card / address info. I don't think it's the card not being accepted because the card always sends me a text and email if they are questioning a charge before approving it. I have a feeling it has something to do with the zip code format. Anybody else run into this?
If you are trying to book on https://www.hubhotels.co.uk/, then try the main site, http://www.premierinn.com/.
There's a recent TripAdvisor London Forum thread by a traveler whose credit card would not go through on the hub site but did go through on the main site.
Of note, the "larger rooms" (relatively speaking!) are available only through the hub site, but that traveler contacted customer service to ask for the larger room. See thread here: https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g186338-i17-k10411942-o10-Premier_HUB_Kings_Cross-London_England.html
I hope you enjoy your stay at hub--I think they're great!
I had problems on the main Premier site when I tried to use a credit card that was going to expire before my stay. Had to use a different credit card.
Thanks for the replies:)
It's very weird and I guess an IT problem on the HUB site. I also have been able to book via the premier site having no problem with payment via the same CC going through. I went ahead and booked the Premier Inn St. Pancras. I've been going back and forth between the two. Decided since we'll be there for 4 nights the price difference probably is justified by having a bigger room, and slightly more convenient location (although they are fairly close to each other). I'll give it some more thought. If I decide to book I will have to do it with a phone call as there are two of us and I would only want one of the "bigger" rooms.
As it's for two people, the Premier Inn is a better choice than the Hub.
