If you are just going direct from Bath to York, I would suggest the train - easy - 15 minute ride to Bristol and then direct train.

I'm sorry, but your OP makes no sense. I'm not a big fan of aggregation sites, but I start every car rental with, say, Expedia, just to see what the lay-of-the-land is. I see at least five companies for Bath to York.

Maybe you left out some information, like that you want to rent at the train station and will not accept any other location. But you wrote "Bath". I will add that I've never used Europecar, but you should be careful about similar names that I have read (not personal experience) are actually aggregators and may be choosing an actual company you won't learn until you get there. At least if you see Hertz, you know it will be Hertz ... ....
