Any new tips for travel through London City Airport

hi everyone, I've seen the older threads about flying from LCA and how arriving about 2 hours early seems ok, given the airport's size. Wanted to make sure and see if anyone has recent experience. We, 3 senior women, have a late morning flight in about a week to Florence. I'm happy to aim for 2.5 or 3 hours early, but we can shave some of that if it's too early.
And, any other tips?
thanks all! We have five days in London before Italy, so excited to get back to that great city!

LCA is the airport code for Larnaca, Cyprus.

LCY--London City Airport--is a very small airport. No need to get there three hours ahead of time. Two will give you plenty of time in the small waiting area that never seems to have enough seats. The gate areas are also small.

Be prepared to take steps down to the tarmac and up into the plane.

thank you so much. This info really helps. Yes, as I abbreviated the airport name I realized later that it wasn't the official initials..Such things matter in terms of airports!
