Traveling soon and hoping for recommendations for museum exhibitions or shows during this short trip. Thank you
The understandingly popular Van Gogh temporary exhibit at the National Gallery is closing on January 19. It’s sold out on many days leading up to that final day, and even most of the entry time slots on January 19th are already fully booked, but you can currently still reserve entry at (or after) 9:45 P.M. on the 19th. They must be staying open late, as ticket time slots up until 11:00 P.M. are on their Website, and if you have the energy that night to see the Starry Night painting and other masterpieces, it would be a fabulous opportunity. Don’t wait too long to reserve your entry ticket(s).
Thank you. I grabbed tickets for the 9pm slot already
Good for you, missy! Also, the British Museum has several temporary exhibitions going on, including one on prints by Picasso. I won’t be in London before it closes at the end of March, but it would definitely be on my itinerary if I was there next month.
If you are into fashion, there is the exhibition "Naomi in Fashion" at the Victoria & Albert museum. I have tickets for Tuesday, January 7 to see it while I am in London. I can report back on how it is - I got tickets last week and there were plenty of times left.
Ian Visits always has comprehensive listing of what's on and coming, and what's closing. Some are main stream, many are ones you would never have heard of. He also does a weekly email newsletter which I find very helpful.

Art fund website has a comprehensive catalogue of exhibitions.
See if the Women of the RNLI ( Royal National Lifeboat Institution) is still on display the National Maritime Museum.
I really enjoyed visiting the museum, gift shop and cafe. Was also a nice pit stop.
Not to mention the views of London are spectacular!

Thank you all for the responses. Hopefully weather will be better than our winter storm here in the US. I am also thinking of a trip a little out of London to the Kew Gardens
Thank you Nigel
