Hello all!
I've been watching the train strike information closely as we're planning our upcoming trip to England/Scotland in the next couple of weeks. My family of 6 is staying in Moreton-in-Marsh and one day (June 5) we were planning to take the train from there to Hanborough, then the short bus ride to Blenheim Palace. All looks fine for the journey going to the palace, but when I look at the journey planner on National Rail's website, it shows that the return train ride has a service disruption: "Disruption between Reading and Oxford expected until the end of the day on Friday 9 June. No service between Didcot Parkway and Oxford."
Will that not allow us to take the route back to Moreton-in-Marsh from Hanborough? I'm not familiar enough with the area or the stations to know... and there is no alert of a service disruption on the outward journey.
Thank you so much for any insight and advice!
