A friend and I will be in London for several days both pre and post a RST that begins in Bath in September.
Have looked at tons of info online and wonder if anyone recommends the above mentioned bus tour, which would begin and end in London.. We know that Lacock/Avebury will be on the RST, but my travel buddy really wants to see Stonehenge. Thanks!

We did this tour a number of years ago because our daughter really wanted to see Stonehenge. Not enough time was allowed to see much of anything at Windsor or Oxford other than a quick glance. In fact we returned to Windsor on a subsequent trip and managed to spend a whole day there.

Unless you are prepared to spend more of the day in transit than actually visiting these three destinations, avoid these kind of trips - only Stonehenge and Windsor can reasonably be done in the same day. You will get far more out of this combination or for Stonehenge, just get the train to Salisbury from London and pick up a bus tour there.
