This may not be the right forum but here goes..
I have not been able to get confirmation from anybody at American Airlines as to whether the 777–200 seat 17 has a TV entertainment screen either in the armrest or a screen on the wall in front of the seats. This is an eight hour overseas flight and the best they could offer was that perhaps there is one screen on the wall for the two bulkhead seats to share?? it seems ridiculous to pay for upgraded seats if you cannot even get a TV screen. They suggested that because they cannot definitively answer my question that I bring a tablet. Anyone have any information on this?
That is the type of question that the people on FlyerTalk are very good at answering. Here is a link to the American Airlines forum, which is where your question belongs.

It looks like they do have the TV's on the seatbacks.
Here you go:

All seats feature a 15.4-inch HD-capable touchscreen monitor - Every Main Cabin Extra and Economy class seatback has an 8.9-inch HD-capable touchscreen monitor.
Was just in bulkhead seats flying overseas last month and they had screens that pulled up to view…
Thank you! Crazy that 4 different calls to AA and nobody can answer the question
I was also frustrated by this on their website! However, I just received an email from American about our upcoming flight, and one of the links was for In-Flight Entertainment. Once there, I clicked on the What's on My Flight (or something similar) button and entered out flight information. At the top of the page, it says, "On this flight, you can enjoy free movies, TV shows, music and games on a seatback screen."
Hope this helps!
Wife and I are booked into seats 17 d and e coming home Frankfurt to Charlotte next week. Had those seats a few different times on AA. Entertainment center is along the seat side and you pull it up. Hope this helps.
Thanks to all. Much appreciated
