Airbnb or serviced apartment recs for London?

We are a family of 4 and going to be in London for 4 nights in Oct 10-14. Looking to stay in the Paddington/Kensington/Bayswater area. Somewhere around there. I've found a few airbnb/plum guides that are promising, but also wondering about serviced apartments? Has anyone stayed in one of those that they liked? I keep looking at hotels in that area that have been suggested on various threads and the family rooms are always booked. I booked this trip last minute (on Tuesday), so trying to work fast!

If you have any fave airbnbs or serviced apartments...I'd love to hear about them! I'm looking to stay under $250/night. I think that's just over GBP200 at the moment. Under $200 would be even better!

Thanks!
Julie

You could try Coach House Rentals, but I’m not sure they’ll have anything under L200 in those neighborhoods.

Keep checking for family rooms; you might get lucky. Maybe try phoning a few places rather than using online booking forms? Try Premier Inn, Holiday Inn?

You could also look farther afield. Public transport in London is easy, plus taking the Tube is part of the experience.

It’ll work out, and you’ll have an awesome time!

We stayed in in the Castletown House Apartments in West Kensington. Very convenient to West Kensington and Barons Court Tube Stations, (Picadilly, District and Circle Lines). Straight shot to King' Cross or Westmeinster. Some decent restaurants nearby. They seem to have many properties under contract. The four of us were comfortable.

We had an excellent experience renting from London Perfect. They were always available for questions. arranged airport pick up and return for us too. Lovely apartment.
