I'm signed into the AirBnB app via Facebook. My wife is signed in via a Google account.
We get different fees and prices for the same apartment.
Mine does not show a security deposit, she shows a deposit of over $500!
Any AirBnB experts out there?

Interesting. How different is the rental rate?
I found a spot for $178. On her tablet it's $180 for 1 guest and $45 for a second guest.
I have used Airbnb many times, both in Europe and the US. I'm usually the one that makes the reservations so I wouldn't know about the differences on price when signing in but I use both my yahoo account and Facebook. If I where you, I'd check with both accounts, then depending on price, go with the lower one. Also, and most importantly, check the reviews and ratings of the place you want to stay at, this is the deciding factor for me and my family. Good luck.
I've used ABnB before also, and am quite familiar with it. I was just wondering why it's interface would be different on two Android tablets. A different look to the screens, and different information.
Anyhow, we just booked a flat in Camden Town for July. Can't wait, especially looking forward to that Camden Market street food!!!!!!!!!!
Fraudsters are setting up convincing fake airbnb sites. Are you sure the two prices are from exactly the same site?

Thanks for the info,. I live near Seattle where that scam has been in the news locally.
