AirBNB Help - Narrowed it down to 4

We have narrowed down our list of flats to rent this fall from 42 to 4... each within our price range (though they vary greatly), but simply cannot decide on where we want to be.

One is in Notting Hill: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19664981?s=51
One is in South Kensington: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19600134?s=51
One is in in Marylebone/Fitzrovia (I am not sure of the exact location): https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20004091?s=51

As an outlier, I fell in love with this little place, but the other half things it's too far away from the sites of the city. Any feedback on staying here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/4712206?s=51

We are planning on doing much of typical touristy things, The British Museum, The Tate Modern, Tower of London, Kensington Gardens, Parliament, etc., with day trips outside of London so we will not be centered much in one specific area. We are late 30s and not night-owls or party animals... we are typically in bed by 11 or so unless we have a specific activity (theater, etc) that keeps us out later. We much prefer to get up and going in the morning rather than staying out late. We'd like to be in an area with enough to do nearby (cafes, shops, etc) for those mornings when we want a lazy start.

I appreciate any and all advice!

Of those locations, Fitzrovia/Marylebone is the most central. It's an area I know well - attractive, bustling, lots of cafes and restaurants and with the huge advantage that you can walk to lots of attractions in central London from there - such as Covent Garden, Soho, Trafalgar Square, British Museum, Regents Park.

The Kensington studio is a pleasant location; you'd need to use public transport to get to most attractions. That's a very narrow space around that bed.

I don't know Notting Hill very well.

The flat by the river - that's quite a transitional area. Some nice bits, some not so nice bits. I wouldn't choose to stay there on a first visit to London despite the views.

Thank you for the replies, that is very helpful... I think for a first visit it seems like staying more central is probably preferable.

Do you think street noise/nighttime noise would be a concern in the Fitzrovia flat?

It's London. Street noise is part of the experience. However it tends to be more of a classy restaurant area than a rowdy pub area so I don't imagine it'll be noisy all night.

Fair enough -- I am a heavy sleeper, so I will be fine -- my other half is used to sleeping with ear plugs when we travel. If he can manage in New York, I'm sure he can manage anywhere.

Cheers!
