advice on day trip out of London for week of November 20-Christmas activities?

Hello Again-
I see this general question gets asked quite a bit, but here is a new twist. We will be in London for 5 full days (7 with travel). Being Harry Potter fans, we are planning a day at the Warner Brothers Studio. Was also considering taking the train to Bath for the Christmas market and so my daughter can see the english countryside. I have heard that Bath is incredible during the holidays. Was looking for advice on staying in London and doing markets there versus heading out of town. And if not Bath during this time, where?

Thank you so much in advance!

I think Bath would be a good choice although I've never been there during the Christmas Market it's on the "to-do" list, lol. This year it starts Nov 23. I love Bath anyway - there is so much to do there!

There is also Christmas at Kew which would be an evening event from your London base. Kew is easily reached by the Tube. You'd want to go ahead and book tickets as they do sell out.

There is also plenty to keep you occupied in London if you decide you want to just stay in town. Here is one link I found with a quick search on special things that are available in town. Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland also looks fun!
