I agree with Frank about checking out The Resident Victoria. A lot of people on the forum have stayed there, and it's a short walk from Victoria Station. They also have locations in Covent Garden, Kensington and Soho. https://www.residenthotels.com/
They're having a sale right now (through January 31) that you might want to check out. If you are interested, make sure you sign up to become a member, as you get 15% off any bookings. And the membership is free. I haven't stayed there yet (I will be staying for 10 nights the end of March), but judging from the reviews, it looks very nice.
