Planning on spending a few days in June, after arrival at Gatwick and Heathrow.
Apartment hotels or suites preferred for four people.
Thanks!!
Hi,
From Gatwick there is the Thameslink train to St Pancras, takes one hour direct. . With the Oyster card the ride cost 8 plus GBP.
You can search on booking.com, narrowing by neighborhood(s) you're interested in and # of people you need rooms for.
There are many hotels around St Pancras but I don't know about any that offer suites. There are Citadines near Barbican and Holborn tube stations which are both a couple of stops away.
You can't get any closer to St. Pancras than this place!
St. Pancras apartment on Airbnb.
Near St. Pancras I always stay at the Jesmond Dene on Argyle St. It is a small hotel, no elevator, wonderful English Breakfasts offered (extra fee). It is about 2 blocks from the St. Pancras station. It feels more like a B&B than a big hotel.
Location is perfect for us. I've stayed here several times and rec'd a discount on the price at checkout by paying cash.
Easy walk to several places in London (British Museum, several tube stops, pubs nearby.)
There is a quad room on the top floor (4th)
Thanks everyone!
