7 year-old in London

My wife and I are treating our 7 year-old granddaughter to three days in London this August. Any suggestions for places she might like to see? Things to do?

We are taking our granddaughter who is 12 and her 10 year old sister to London this summer. We had previously taken the oldest one to London when she was 8 (for 2 weeks). Some highlights from our trip 4 years ago and places where she wants to take her now 10 year old sister to are: Hampton Court Palace with kids audio guide and cape/costumes, Westend musicals or plays, Harry Potter sites, double decker bus rides, Thames river cruise, the big city parks with playgrounds, etc. Now that they are older we will spend a little more time in some major museums including the science museum, natural history museum and British museum.

The one place where we will probably not go again (I've been 3 times) is the Tower of London. It was soooooo over crowded last time that we just broke away from the tour. There were over 50 people with our yeoman. So we went out to the moat to watch the catapult demonstration which she liked but because of the crowdedness in the interior places we just couldn't see or hear the guide so we tried to make the most of it on our own.

With three full days you'll have a lot to do. Get some books and see what interests her. Is she familiar with the picture book, Madeline in London for lots of historic landmarks?

Mudchute farm. Hamleys toy store. Feeding the water fowl in the Round Pound near Diana's Playground in Kensington Gardens. The Horniman Museum and the V & A Museum of childhood. I would also think she'd enjoy watching the street performers in Covent Garden, https://www.coventgardenlondonuk.com/culture/street-performers
Lots to see and do with your granddaughter. Have a great 3 days together.
