Later this Summer I will be attending a course at Oxford University. Part of this course includes all of the Oxford tourist spots but I will have 2 free days in the middle trip. I am looking for trip ideas for these two free days in the middle of my trip. Private tour to the Cottswolds? Take the train to Bath? Etc... Help me out here people. Specifics are welcomed. Thanks everyone!

Should I assume you've been to London? A private tour of the Cotswolds would be something to consider. So would a train ride to Bath. Then again what are your interests? Archeology? History? Hiking? Museums?
How about Bletchly Park?
If you are interested in art and literature consider taking a drive out to Kelmscott Manor, the home of William Morris.
Blenheim Palace is good for most of a full day - it's easy to take the public bus there.
