I like The Albert, a great old pub a few blocks down Victoria. It is An old place that looks very out of place among new buildings. Food is good and it has atmosphere.

Nicole, You will have restaurants all around you, in every price range. To the west of Victoria Station are two streets, Ebury Street and Buckingham Palace Rd. which are both lined with restaurants.
For Italian food, Santini's, 29 Ebury St. Expensive. santinirestaurant.com
For Chinese/Cantonese food, Ken Lo's Memories of China, 65-69 Ebury St. Very expensive (remember, I warned you), but delicious. memories-of-china.co.uk
For roast beef and vegetable dinners like an American restaurant, plus lots of other options more British, The Ebury Restaurant and Wine Bar, 139 Ebury St. (near the corner of Ebury and Elizabeth St.) Moderate to expensive. eburywinebar.co.uk
For Italian food, not as expensive as Santini's, try La Bottega, (An Italian deli; great meatballs and spaghetti.) Moderate. 25 Ecleston St. labottega.co.uk
On Buckingham Palace Rd., try: Shakespeare Pub, 99 Buckingham Palace Rd. (Great fish & chips and shepherd's pie, moderate to inexpensive. taylor-walker.co.uk

On the east side of Victoria Station, you have Wilton Rd., which is also lined with restaurants.
Pret-A-Manger (sandwiches, inexpensive) 29 Wilton Rd.
Le Pain Quodien (bakery, sandwiches, salads, quiche, inexpensive) Unit 3, Wilton Plaza, 128 Wilton Rd. http://www.lepainquotidien.co.uk/store/victoria/
Sainsbury's Supermarket, 99 Wilton Rd. Groceries and ready-made sandwiches.
The Willow Walk Pub, 25 Wilton Rd., fish and chips. Moderate to inexpensive. jdwitherspoon.co.uk
Seafresh, 80-81 Wilton Rd., seafood, possibly best fish & chips and prawns I've had in London. seafresh-dining.com

Look at the websites to see the menus and prices.

Nicole, If you get homesick for an American style hamburger or hot dog, fries and a shake while you're there, head on over to Ed's Easy Diner, an American style cafe with black and white tile floors and red leather booths. Six locations in London, click on each location on this page to see a map and photos. The one near Picadilly Circus is an easy lunch stop if you're out sightseeing.

Their newest location is adjacent to Victoria Train Station. 115 Buckingham Palace Rd. It's in a new shopping center adjacent to the station, called Victoria Place. You will find other inexpensive restaurants in there, such as Costa Coffee, Cafe Nero, or Fresh Pizza Co. Also a Boots pharmacy for your needs like toothpaste, aspirin, prescriptions.
