You might want to consider getting a special oral device, instead of using your CPAP. My husband has both. There are specialized dentists who offer oral devices. My husband has had two different devices; one wore out. 1-1/2 years ago he was fitted for his second device. He went and had a repeat sleep-over to validate the new device. It is much more convenient to travel with the mouth guard, than to have to carry and use the CPAP. I also have an oral device, due to snoring. I don't have sleep apnea though.
