Thinking about staying in York for one night at the Galtres Lodge Hotel. Is this a good place to stay?

I can't comment on your hotel as I stayed in an apartment there. But York is worth at least 2 nights...we stayed 3 and had plenty to do. A one night stay won't get you much time in York and it's a nice town with lots to see. Can you allocate any more time to it?
