Where to stay near Chatsworth House?

Hi There,

My husband and I are stopping in the Peak District at the end of July to see Chatsworth House. We'd like to stay there a few days to see the house in full and enjoy some hill walking. Where would you recommend staying in that area?

For hill walking,Edale is a very good choice.
You could do first bit of Pennine way,or the Great Ridge, or Winnats Pass and Cave Dale.
Plenty of accommodation to be had.

On your travels the Royal Oak at Hurdlow is excellent for food.
The Barrel at Bretton also good for food and views,highest pub in Derbyshire

Thank you for the tip, Richard! I would love to do a bit of hill walking like that. Do you have a particular B&B in that area that you'd recommend?
