Victoria or Pimlico?

is this in addition to Denmark Hill, Denice? What do you mean by west London? Do you mean places like Shepherd's Bush, Acton, Hammersmith, Ealing? That's sort of what I'd think of by west London...

I'll take the train into Denmark Hill 2 days during my visit to London. A few places I'd like to see are Sky Garden, Borough Market, Kensington Garden, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and Notting Hill (Portobello Market). I plan to take a cruise down the Thames River and join a few London Walks and Strawberry tours. Thanks for recommending Shepard's Bush, I'll add it to my list!

Denice too make life easier forget those two accommodations and go with either the Tower Bridge Premier Inn or Marriot Residence Inn.

Borough Market would be a 20 minute stroll, Maltby Market on 5-10 minutes.

Easy walk across Tower Bridge to the Tower of London. The nearby London Bridge underground station is 15 minutes away. From there via the Tube you could be at Westminster Station in under 10 minutes on the Jubilee Line. Walk out of Westminster station and you’ll see the all cleaned up Elizabeth’s Tower. If you arrive on the hour you will get to hear Big Ben chime.

I’m a frequent traveler to London. Simply suggesting other lodging possibilities.

The Underground is a great way to travel about the city to see the sites. Busses are fine but can take longer as London traffic is abysmal.
