The Rembrandt Hotel

Hello! My family and I stayed at the Rembrandt in July 2024, and we enjoyed it very much. The location was good for public transportation, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast had something for everyone's tastes, and the service was very good. It had A/C and elevators. For us, the hotel was quite expensive, but also worth it, and if/when we go to London again, it would be at the top of our list for places to stay. Enjoy your trip!

We have stayed at the Rembrandt several times - most recently last Spring. The location is excellent, especially because both the District and Circle Line and the Piccadilly line stop at South Kensington. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The Natural History Museum and the V& A are right across the street. The park, Royal Albert Hall, and Harrods are about 15-20 minutes walk depending on your pace. The rooms are nice. If you like a big breakfast, their buffet is good. My only concern with the hotel is that their bathrooms are design with tub showers and the tubs are quite high. If that is an issue for you, I would ask if they have more accessible rooms available.

I've been looking at hotels in London also. While looking at the Rembrandt saw a photo of the accessable room that has a shower area that is even with the rest of the bathroom. I think the photo was in the regular room photo gallery.

I just booked a 3 night stay next April based on your recommendations. I plan to have Afternoon Tea there on one afternoon. Now, I'm off to book theatre tickets and explore other activities on offer. As someone else said about Paris: Paris is always a good idea and I would add, London is always a good idea!

After the Hotel 63 closed, I decided to extend my stay to 3 nights and now I will experience a new London hotel!
