Looking for suggestions for 1 night at Heathrow for 80-year-old female, flying out of T3 in July 2023.
I'm staying in one of the Premier Inns at Heathrow before a flight out next July. The price is reasonable and PIs are generally decent places to stay.
I've used the very reasonably priced (and newish) Premier Inn at T4, but I think there would be more convenient options (though likely considerably more expensive) for someone flying out of T3. The T4 PI involves hopping on the Tube to switch terminals and is a fairly long walk from T4, but it is covered all the way.
There is an Aerotel in Terminal 3.
There is a Hilton Garden Inn attached to Terminal 2 which is a short, covered, underground walk from Terminal 3.
No need to take a bus to an outlying hotel or a train to a different terminal.
There is a new Aerotel inside T3, off the Arrivals hall. Note that the rooms are small and windowless, but it would certainly be convenient.
They are offering a 20% discount for booking in advance (3 weeks or more).
The easiest option is probably the Hilton Garden Inn

The Hilton Garden Inn is at T2. Probably easiest hotel if you can walk about 5 to 10 minutes with your luggage. I think there may be some some moving walkways along the route. The downside is that I found the hotel was decorated in a sort of corporate ikea fashion. Totally lacking in any charm. But it serves it purpose. Hotel is a little difficult to find as the entrance is at the back of the parking structure.
If you don’t mind changing terminals the Sofitel at T5 is much nicer but probably more expensive too.
Edit. Oops. Missed that there was a hotel at T3
Thank you for some good ideas. I'm leaning toward that new Aerotel. Really interesting concept.
