A beautiful setting overlooking the lake and park, quiet and friendly. Luxuriant towels....and washcloths! Breakfast was excellent and extensive. Parking provided. Buxton is out the front door with many restaurants, pubs, shops and theatre a 5 minute walk away. We stayed several nights as our base for visiting the Peak District and Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall and lots more.
