We stayed above the Pride of Paddington Pub for 5 nights in May and it was great! We loved the location, right next to Paddington Station. The price was right: our deluxe double was L140-150-170 depending on the night, and for that we had a comfy queen bed, updated bathroom, refrigerator, couch, and table/chairs. There was no lift so be prepared to haul your bags up. Yes, it's loud until closing time downstairs, but that's what earplugs are for. Bonus, the neighborhood has every kind of food you'd like, including fresh fruit/veg, and of course the pub right downstairs. We had a really nice Sunday roast there on our last day. I'd stay there again.
