I will be going to London and Paris in late September, four days in each city. I am looking for restaurant suggestions for the Marais section of Paris and in London around the Hyde Park/Kensington Palace area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In Paris, Le Colimaçon is in the heart of the Marais. We have eaten there twice now at the recommendation of David Lebovitz (I believe). I can't get past their excellent duck confit and foie gras. Check it out on TripAdvisor. We had to make reservations weeks in advance and secure those reservations with our credit card (I believe it was 50 Euros per person). If you make reservations, ask for an upstairs table. We were seated right next to the fabulous window.
