Sorry to bother all you busy folks out there, but I am angsting over how to "layer" (thus pack) for the weather in London in early-to-mid-May; we'll also be traveling to other GB locations (Liverpool, Inverness, Edinburgh, etc) after some time in London. I am thinking lightweight long sleeved t-shirt underneath with a polo over it; will also have a lightweight rainproof windbreaker. For pants, bluejeans and a pair of REI Adventure pants (lightweight and rainproof). We'll be doing a lot of walking and tube-riding to see the sights. Any suggestions?
Emma--May I jump in here and ask if I might expect the same and prepare the same way for the first week of June ? Or, stick mostly to short sleeve or 3/4 sleeve shirts?
I will also be bringing a knee length raincoat with zip out lining.
Sorry, Steve & Anita, if I've highjacked your thread. Enjoy your trip!!
My thanks to Emma and SandraL for their comments. As I stated on the regular England forum (Q&A) where I reposted my question, my wife had to explain to me what a "jumper" is!! I am feeling less angst now.
London 25 degrees in May, lol.
