Look at Hilton, Citadines or Premier Inn.
This neighborhood of London has gentrified over the decades. First stayed the in the early 90’s. Was a bit dreary. Rental was an apartment in a converted school book repository. Owner sold it ages ago and lives else where in London now. We remained in contact and meet up each time I’m in London.
Recall I thought that Lonsdale Square Garden was so lovely and the concept of sitting and reading or eating one’s lunch in a public garden was fabulous!
Walked about it in 2022 with a friend as was pleasantly surprised to see its evolution.
Revisited the Crown Pub and enjoyed a delightful meal.
I liked strolling the canal path but then I always follow the Thames River Path or any canal path I can find. Big on walking.
