London Hotels

We've been to London at least 20 times. For our next trip over we'll be spending 4 days there the first week of October. It's no longer necessary to stay in very touristy areas. That includes areas in the City, Covent Garden, etc We'd like to stay in a more quiet area, in zones 1 and 2, spending up to 400 pounds/night and have breakfast included. We're obviously very versed with TfL so we're open to new areas within London. Not interested in BandB's, too small.

Thanks everyone for any recommendations.

We recently stayed in the Fulham area, we were close to some great pubs and quaint little neighborhoods, with tube stations very nearby. I think $400 a night would go a long way in that area; it's safe, and we loved being in a less touristy spot.

We walked down to the Thames and walked across the Putney Bridge to the UBER boat dock; we took the boat all the way down to the London Eye.

We also went to a Premier League football match at Craven Cottage, home to the Fulham F.C.

We rented a flat in Richmond long before Ted Lasso put it on the map for everyone in Apple TV land. We thought it was a wonderful place to stay. Great pubs, Richmond Great Park, easy train ride into central London.
