london hotel for families

hello
We have 5 family members spending a week in London in mid June. One couple (mid twenties), 3 others( mom, aunt and 18 year old boy) so we need two-three bedrooms. It is the first time for all but myself and it is a college/high school graduation present. Can anyone recommend a hotel or apartment? We all are good at walking.

Thank you!

No 1 the Mansions has a number of 2,3, and 4 bedroom suites available and are fairly affordable by London standards. They do book up quite a bit in advance though. There are also some 2 bedrooms available at the sister hotels 10 Curzon & 44 Curzon Street by Manley.

Check out Citidines Apart-hotels. Not sure they have 3 bedrooms but we stayed at Citidines Trafalgar Square, a block from Trafalgar Square and a few blocks from Covent Garden and the Thames. Great location and Charing Cross tube is a block away as are several bus stops, for travel to distant sights. Many of the famous sights (London Eye, Buckingham Palace, National Gallery, Westminster Abbey) are walkable from there. It's a good idea to have all involved do research and see what each would like to visit. Good luck.

Check out the London House hotel. This may suit your needs. I stayed there twice and enjoyed my stay. Nothing fancy but clean and nice and near two tube stations! In the Bayswater area.

I recommend that you verify availability of air conditioning, though it is true that you may well not need it. At the least, it would be a good tie-breaker if you have multiple, reasonably equivalent options.

You'll probably get lots more replies if you post this over in the Destination Q&A section. This is the section for posting reviews of places that you've already been to. The Destination Q&A section will have a lot of posts on this kind of topic that have already been answered, too, for your review. Have a great trip!

Premier Inn London County Hall might fit your bill. They have family size rooms - can sleep 3 people I believe. Very reasonably priced and good location on Southbank by London Eye. They have an option where you can add on either a full or continental breakfast each day.

Check Premier Inn website for announcement that there is construction going on near that hotel.

We got an apartment near Vauxhall in October for 6 of us, very economical and food market down the street let us shop for our breakfast and easy dinners, we usually did our big meal at lunch while out touring. Look on airbnb or Vebo and be sure to look at where the place is in relation to the tube stop. You don't want to waste time changing trains or being on a long commute.
